The basic understanding of breasts
The Female Breast Component:
The female breast is made up of fatty tissue, as well as lobes, lobules, ducts, areola and nipple.
The picture below shows some breast anatomical features which will help you understand how the inner of the breast looks like.
Lobes and lobules: Each breast has up to 20 sections called "lobes", like petals on a flower.
Each lobes contain smaller "lobules", where breast milk is produced.
Ducts: Small tubes that carry milk to the nipple.
Fatty tissue: Surrounds the lobules and ducts.
Areola: Pink or brown circular area that surrounding the nipple.
